FREE MONOLOGUE

This comedic monologue is taken from the play The Man Who Liked Dick, included in the one-act play collection A Ballyhoo in Blighty. It’s a brief one but ideal for use as a contrasting piece for a short audition slot. And remember, brevity is the soul of wit!

The character in the original play is named Felicity, but if you’re a male actor simply rename it as Felix, as this piece is eminently cross-castable. Here we find Felicity/Felix venting their frustration at their spouse for having invited their new neighbors into their home earlier that evening.

Note: This monologue is not included in Monologues They’ll Remember you By, it’s simply a little gift from me to you.
